Maybe not racist, but completely false and absolutely non-presidential. Seems like a pretty awful comment for a POTUS to make.
It is objectively true.

Here are the unemployment numbers for similarly educated black and white Americans

All of these stats are for 2012,

For Black Americans without a high school diploma 20.4% are unemployed, for white Americans its 11.4%

For Black Americans with a high school diploma 13.4% are unemployed for white Americans its 7.5%

For Black Americans with some college but no degree 11.6% are unemployed for white Americans its 6.9%

For Black Americans with an Associates degree 10.2% are unemployed for white Americans its 5.4%

For Black Americans with a Bachelors degree or higher 6.3% are unemployed for white Americans its 3.7%

So, based on those stats I'd say yes a black American has to work twice as hard as a similarly educated white American to gain employment that's pretty much clear.

Yeah it's too bad Obama is a racist and drug up that old bag. Before he did people were starting to get along better, but not anymore.

A lot of blacks voted for Obama because they were mislead to believe Obama was gonna buy them stuff. Such stupidity. 3.5 more years of this BS, but it is what it is.

I mostly ignore it except for pot shots at fools on cd.

I notice the people who want to rile against the reality that black Americans face systematic racial discrimination, fail to look at stats that shows systematic discrimination.

The unemployment numbers are great in that regard because those numbers show the black deficit no matter the effort of the black individual.

It would be one thing if as black Americans became more educated the employment gap with similarly educated white Americans disappeared, but it is still there.

Black Americans that are high school drop outs are 1.789times more unemployed than white Americans who are high school drop outs.

Black Americans with college degrees or higher are 1.7times more unemployed than white Americans with college degrees or higher.

Despite the greater effort of black college grads, they still face the same employment gap as black Americans who drop out of high school, that isn't some random accident.

No, it isn't. Race is about genetics.

My take as well.

This was their day of days, all they worked for their entire lives paid off on this day. They graduated... and 0bama essentially says 'no matter what your accomplish in life, I'll always see you as black kids who are descendents from slaves.'

In other words, 'you'll always need me and people like me to help you, so don't ever think you can make it in this world on the quality of your character and the merit of your deeds.'

Oh give it a break you obviously are misreading because I do NOT feel that way. People need to take care of themselves.

So Donny put your big boy pants on and face life like a man. No real man will suck off the government teet.

We all go to school and while there we each make our choices as to how serious we take schooling. Each of us are now living with the results of that decision.
