Because it's broken, not worth fighting for, and for those born with no power it's play or get played.

Well, you straight people keep saying that us gay people just need to find a straight man or woman to dupe into marrying us. So you want us to have sham marriages, so if you want one, go for it. We all know you just started this thread to start some more bull and spread some more lies. I expect more threads like this as decision day gets closer, the closer it gets, the nuttier the nut jobs will get with their slander, lies and anti gay agenda.

Would you have to prove your orientation status if you wanted to marry a female business partner?

Using that logic we should then abolish Marriage all together because of all of the abuse that goes on. People using it for green cards and all sorts of other reasons.

Then there won't be any messes at all

well,no you wouldn't - but does two wrongs make a right?

why not just leave the dysfunctional marriage system as it is, why make it even more absurd by allowing man to marry man?

That is my view as it happens.

Abolish all marriage!

This will likely happen in the future, and will be the realisation of Marx's vision.

Right, leave it just like it is because us straights already have our way, no matter about inheritance and adoption rights and being in the hospital at the bedside of a dying love. If you prick them, will they not bleed?

I thought most marriages were same sex.

Get married and you end up always having the same sex.
