Comprehend?

You see, I am not an obedient follower of the Obama cult, who must not speak their actual thoughts, as they might offend the Fuhrer. You, as a liberal, are restricted to ONLY pro-Obama thoughts and propaganda, as you have sacrificed objective rationality for party allegience. (How embarrassing- you must support fascism now to support your leader).

Obama WOULD NOT TAKE A POSITION on the ouster of Morsi, yet took an active position against Mushariff (sp)!

So we have Obama MARKEDLY OPPOSING AN ALLY, WHO SOUGHT PEACE WITH ISRAEL, AND WAS A SECULAR LEADER. THEN OBAMA REFUSES TO OPPOSE AN ISLAMIC FUNDAMENTALIST FASCIST WHO WANTS TO INSTALL AN ISLAMIC FUNDAMENTALIST GOVERNMENT?:sma ck:

You libs are so far gone that you really don't even know or understand what you believe anymore. You claim to be for "liberty", yet overtly support fascist policy!

You libs look more and more confused and ridiculous as Obama's policies evolve. You are conflicted and contradictory idiots who support fascism for the sake of party loyalty.

What happened was a military coup, plain and simple.
And I'd wager that it was the US calling the shots for the Egyptian military as we own them lock, stock and barrel.

Seems like you condone what they did.
What if that happened here ? What if there was a majority that wanted Obama out before his term was over and the military sided with them and drove Obama out of the WH ?

And no, I'm not posing a strawman here but a valid question regarding the laws of Democracy.
You either follow them or you don't.

The WH will not call this a coup. Congress is meeting over this because a military coup demands that the US cut off all funding to that country when their democratically elected leader is deposed.
I don't necessarily disagree. But polls showed that over 80 % of Egyptians wanted Morsi out, and didn't something like 1/4 of the population sign a petition asking for his ouster.

It's all about resource wars. The petrodollar cannot be replaced and we'll do whatever is necessary to keep it in place.
I would not doubt this.

There is a recurring theme going on here...

Brown and black people are just tools without minds or aspirations of the own. Blacks are tools of the Democrats because they get free stuff, and Arabs and Egyptians are just tools of big oil.

The fact that the U.S. concentrates its attentions on the Middle East is because of oil though. That, and Israel. I'm not saying Arabs and Egyptians are "tools" of big oil.

Thomas Friedman's view from the NYTimes:

"Two critical questions now hang over Egypt: Will the Egyptian Army, which again revealed itself as the real power broker, insist that the new government be more inclusive than Morsi’s -- and to what end? Egypt will never be stable unless it has a government that represents all the main political forces in the country -- and that still includes the Muslim Brotherhood, which probably still enjoys support from at least 25 percent of the voting public. It has to be part of any new government. But the Egyptian Army has detained many Muslim Brotherhood activists today. Will it allow them to be included in Egypt’s political future? And will the Egyptian army, which has its own vast network of economic interests that it is focused on protecting, open itself up to any reforms?"

Yes, comprehension is important. You do not comprehend what people are saying, so your posts come across ignorant.

So polls can undermine laws ? Is that what you are saying ?

You either follow the rules or you don't.
There's no "Yeah, but...."

The term is 4 years. Suck it up and get your next guy ready to be elected.
Imagine if people tried that here ? One year in and then decide.."Nah, we don't like this guy so let's get a petition and have the military run him out of the Oval Office and take control while we decide what we really want"
