I've heard said that jurors don't take to kindly to defendants in murder cases that do not take the stand.
Also, I hope the jury notices that even to his own defense witness, today's fighting expert, George did not provide the details of the fight: who was on top when, how they ended up moving 35 feet, how was Trayvon positioned at the point George shot him---all things George knows! But his own expert had to speculate how it went down? Why? Why not just say how it really happened to the defense expert witness testifying on your behalf?
Yes, but in that scenario and assuming the shooter was a 21-year-old black male (because of having to be that old for a concealed carry permit), what do you think would have happened? Seriously.
What do you think would happen if a 22 year old black man sitting in a car shot a 29 year old special needs Hispanic man who was just out walking his dog?
Let's say the black man claimed self defense, even though he was safely in his car? And had not a single injury?
Would the police arrest him immediately? If not, would there be marches around the country for justice for the white Hispanic? Would the media withhold the name of the black man because he "had not be charged with any crime?"
What do you think?

why do you assume trayvon assaulted george? because george said so?
Because George Zimmerman said so, because the witnesses corroborate his story, the evidence also corroborates his story, the expert witnesses in the trial corroborate his story, his reenactment the next day perfectly backs up his story and most importantly, his story is the only story that actually makes sense.
Go back a few posts to mine where I state that I do not have much faith in Florida Jurors. Florida can't even get an election result right or done expediently.

I know Z was not required to take the stand (but believe he wanted to against the advice of counsel) but if I were a juror I would want to hear him under cross examination. Watching him being advised by the Judge as to his choice, I was half way expecting him to take the stand. Maybe West told him if you take the stand, you're going to jail!!! guaranfnteed...
It looked like he really wanted to but was advised and advised that it wouldn't be in his best interest.
So the truth get you upset a bit, did it? It has nothing to do with race, it has to do with facts, and TM was on the wrong path headed for a cell, or where he did finally end up... Justice was done..

OK. So you say that, but even before most of the information came out, people on here were already calling Trayvon a "thug." You don't think that is about race? Because of course he had no history of violence, or any criminal history --unlike George, who did. Yet Trayvon was called the "thug."
He wasn't a thug..more like an aspiring thug or a pretend thug....just a pretty unintelligent kid.
