When they invade through Mexico? Have you been to canal street? They are already here.

And say you spent your entire life living in china and then had to march thousands of miles to a certain death....don't you think once you saw a glimpse of spring break in cancan on the way, you'd be defecting immediately?

First how are the Chinese going to assemble such a vast army under our noses? Even with Mexico Latin America and Cuba as allies your battle plan is at best a boxer signaling his punches...surprise and rapid movement rules the day. I would strike in the Gulf and drive north up the Mississippi River effectively cutting the country in half Mexico would be a second front cutting off the west coast at the Rocky Mountains with literally nothing in between . The Mexicans Latins Cubans get the southwest territories China gets Disneyland Hollywood and pain in the a$$ liberals.

Either way, General Odierno takes Beijing in a year or 2, the Chinese government falls back to some mountain and we get that in 4 or 5 years.
rather optimistic, but possibly doable in that time table.

the gulf is a bad choice, mostly because of the swap area and the confined are of the gulf itself for an invasion fleet. its a bottleneck that would become a shooting gallery for the US military. unless of course you were to invade through mexico in the gulf, and then you would have to deal with the texas rangers north of the border.

to invade the US, you would need multiple invasion points, and a massive amount of men, equipment, and supplies before you could get to a point where your armies could live off the land.
