One thing I love about C-D is the playground level of discourse.

It was stale and what's funny is this Cord Jefferson fellow lifted this from "Black Twitter" verbatim and did not credit the author. Leading to a backlash.

Actually, I believe you have it wrong. The problem is that many people, like myself, feel that Bill O'Reilly is merely someone who is trying to inflame more resentment towards Blacks. He isn't saying this stuff because he cares about Blacks. He's a shock jockey. I believe he is only saying that stuff because he's angry, and wants other people to be angry at Blacks. It is more like a "see, that guy is saying that, so it must be true that Black people are violent".

So now you are reducing this discussion to insults and reactionary language.

They do nothing to solve problems either.

You mean how like people like Sharpton, Jackson, etc. try to keep blacks angry and resentful towards whites? Pot, kettle, black.

Yes and I see a whole lot more of it coming from the left than the right.

We are talking about Bill O'Reilly here, not Sharpton or Jackson. Why do people care more about Sharpton and Jackson than about O'Reilly if as you say, both are doing the same thing?

And why are you assuming that I support Jackson and Sharpton? I have to ask because you brought them up, and then use the "pot calling the kettle black" phrase?

I am not defending O'Reilly. In fact I think he is a big blowhard. What gets me is when one talks about people like him that race bait but don't acknowledge the race baiters on their own side. I never assumed that you yourself support Jackson, Sharpton etc. Just making note of the hypocricy.
