Some prisoners can work and earn money --- they can pay child support if they have children.

No child under 18 can really give consent to have sex, if a 14 year old girl is having a baby, she was raped. They should find these pedophile rapists and send them to prison work camps.

Any lottery winnings should be taken from the deadbeats. Any income tax returns, but also deadbeat fathers should be sent to prison for child neglect.

Lmao...in MS a girl can marry at 15 with her parents' consent, and younger in certain cases.

Yeah, because we all know how cheap incarceration is compared to welfare. Which, of course, the mother and children will also be on anyway.

Age of consent in Mississippi is 16.
What is the Mississippi Legal Age of Consent for 2013?
Quote:
The Mississippi legal Age of Consent for sexual contact is 16 years old. A total of thirty one states have set their age of consent at 16, the lowest age of consent in any state.

Any person 17 or older who has sexual relations with a monor between 14 and 16 years old can be charged with statutory rape. If the actor is under 3 years older then the younger partner, the charge is reduced to sexual battery.

Well if the kid who "raped" her was 14, he didn't give consent, according to your logic, so how can he be a rapist??

That is disgusting to refer to the birth of a child as "crotch fruit" - Never hear of such a hateful term. As for young fathers- If they do not step up to the plate and at least acknowledge there own children- It is a good idea to out these little goofs. Support of the child should not be made the key factor..that can come later...but a child needs a father....It is better that the child have a "dead beat" father than none.

I think this is a good law. Children born out-of-wedlock are a huge burden on our social welfare system but that isn't the only reason the state has an interest in finding out who the dads are. When you are discussing teen moms, sometimes you are not talking about teen dads.

It will be interesting to see how the privacy issue plays out in the courts.

Personally, I hope more states adopt this policy. Fathers need to be held accountable and responsible for their children and too many get away with not doing so because the mother tries to protect him or promises him she won't go after him. That means the rest of society ends up paying for that child.

I believe that you do forfeit some rights when living off of the state.

Want to keep your privacy? Keep your legs together, unless you can provide for yourself and your child.
