That's only true for Queens and the Bronx, aside from those boroughs NYC is the most segregated city in the USA. Detroit might be slightly more segregated.
Correction: NYC is the 4th most segregated city. Lawton, OK is the 6th most diverse city and the most diverse city is Jacksonville, NC.

Here it is the same: whites, Asians and Hispanics tend to live together and form communities. If you add blacks, people complain. I'm not saying that's right, but it is just something I have noticed -and guess what? It isn't the white people doing the complaining.

In Portland, Asians were long #2, until recently being overtaken numerically by Hispanics, while Blacks are #4, and Blacks are actually participating in the increasing diversity of neighborhoods because they were so egregiously segregated for a long time.
While historically Black neighborhoods are diversifying - partially through gentrification and hipsterization - the poor are diversely being driven wholesale to the geographic and economic fringes.

I'd be interested in what kind of "Hispanic" here. As most people know, Hispanic ain't a race tho most of them here in the US are at least part Indian like Aztec. The white looking ones are def "white" and can look Italian and so on.
