Your cousins daugter and her health care? Take this nonsense to a health care thread for Lords sake man. Cmon now.
its obvious you're not following the thread. this is a comparission between Reagan and Obama. there are no rules as to what is going to be talked about, and health care was an issue during Reagan's time
Or did you forget that Reagan de-funded support and coverage for mental health research and care while he was in office?
Now back in reality world as I pointed out in the OP I'm not speaking on policy terms but what the man preached basically I guess one could say. Reagan spoke of how great America was and is, he spoke of the American dream, he spoke of freedom.
Yes, yes, yes, with a giant American flag waving gently behind him, God Bless America playing over loudspeakers as fireworks went off across the nation and little children and old people wept with joy. We get it, you worship him. He was your Messiah. (Sorry, couldn't resist. )

As you said, you are not talking about policies, you are talking about how much Regan cared about AMERICA
I think the point of this post is that under the health care reform we have now, AMERICANS are being taken care of better.
It gets so tiring correcting the myths. But here goes:
Every balanced budget Reagan presented to Congress was declared DOA by (Democrat) Tip O'Neill. Congress spent, on average, 2.8% more than Reagan asked for and 24.5% over 8 years.
Due mainly to the two Reagan tax cuts in 1981 and 1983, government revenue almost doubled. The 1980s was one of the most prosperous decades in the history of the country... and not just for the "rich."
Ironic that you accuse others of presenting myths then present myths. Reagan never presented a balanced budget and tax revenue fell after Reagan cut taxes.
1. Ignored AIDs into a pandemic because it was labeled "gay cancer". From the first indication of the crisis in 1981, Reagan first addressed the problem in..wait for it...1987.
Does any of this sound familiar? Naw, I didn't think so. Everything was somehow a freaking bed of roses when Ron was in the Whitehouse. His only talent was being an actor.
Once again, time to correct some misinformation...
Ironic that you accuse others of presenting myths then present myths. Reagan never presented a balanced budget and tax revenue fell after Reagan cut taxes.
Incorrect on both counts. Just as incorrect as Reagan "ignoring" AIDS.

Why are you liberals bringing up Bush???? Look at the thread title for God's sake.....stop with the deflecting. Unreal with you folks.
Oh look its the guy/girl crying about deflection and often deflects himself.
