I hope I live to see the day it is legal in all fifty of the states.
Have I mentioned lately how proud I am that I live in a country where SSM is legal from sea to shining sea?

Everyone has their line in the sand. Who are you to define what individuals can or should do or believe in ?

No one is bound 100% by formal religious indoctrinations.
And it's been man that has changed religious rules over time.

Is Saturday or Sunday the true day of rest for Catholics ?

It's not 100% or nothing.
I'm Catholic and have no issues with contraception and/or divorce yet I still have my faith.
The Bible allows divorce but the Catholic Church used to excommunicate you for that.

The lesbians knew full well that they were targeting a religious establishment and took the opportunity to kick some teeth in rather than demonstrate that the homosexual is capable of exercising tolerance for religious belief and go somewhere else.

There you go - rubbing it in.

Actually, at the risk of pissing off some of my fellow Americans, I've always thought Canada was way ahead of us in a number of ways.

Too bad I'm too old and broken and poor - I think I would have loved living in Canada.

This, being closed Sundays and the crosses hanging on the wall indicate strong religious conviction.
The man and woman quote didn't appear until the whole bruhaha erupted.

Also, there are christians who do business with homosexuals, even christian churches that do same sex weddings.

I love how the fact that this bakery was perfectly happy to bake cakes for pagan ceremonies, as well as the other "non-christian" ones mentioned, while refusing to bake a cake for a same sex wedding, is being completely and totally ignored.

I addressed that statement so it's not being ignored.

I'll have to go back and look. I went to town, and when I got back and logged on, I must have missed reading some posts.
