Just the simple words "private club" and you guys are ok with it?

There is a long line of court cases that I suggest you read that can explain it all to you.

The only businesses that aren't, are those traded publicly on the Stock Market in which case the Shareholders own the business. Still technically privately owned.

Whether or not a business is privately or publically held is not the test. It's whether or not a business holds itself out to service or provide goods to the general public that is the test.

General Public. As distinct from the limited public (private clubs).

Talking about Pagan Solstices ... isn't the Autumnal Solstice coming up on Sept. 21st?

Can someone recommend a good Christian bakery where I can order a Pagan Solstice Day cake?

What's your point? What percentage of businesses complain about not being able to discriminate against people?

Neither we, nor the government should be concerned with whiner businesses who don't want or can't follow the law. Those businesses will fail, and someone else will take their place.

This business was intentionally and deliberately targeted because of their religious convictions just so the homosexual could cause trouble and “make a point” when they could have easily gone somewhere else instead. This is just wonderful. Since you will never succeed in forcing people into compliance why do you insist on the bullying?
Yep. The intolerant left.

Disgusting people.

So members that belong to these clubs are not general public?
Shouldn't you guys be screaming "discrimination" at the "private clubs" too??

And they should have the right to fail WITHOUT breaking any laws.
Let the consumer and supply and demand regulate the business.
But the business should be able to run based off their own decisions. If they make stupid one and fail, then they fail.

Again, youre missing the point.

Private clubs are not OPEN to the general public. That their membership is composed from a body that is also a member of the "general public" is not the deciding factor.

And its actually very easy for a private club to be deemed "not really private," so the best course of action for anyone to take is to not be a d-bag and to not discriminate. For many, however, this is a horrible burden, but it's their burden to bear, not anyone else's.

Sorry, but this argument was lost 50 years ago. You're going to have to deal with reality going forward.
