what about that article says they "went out of business due to lack of business?" I am guessing they moved the business into their home, so they could more easily monitor their clientele, and not be subject to slavery. this is a good thing. there are plenty of butt pirate friendly bakeries out there, so homos can go there.
I never said they went out of business, but if they are closing down their storefront, it isn't because they want to be able to monitor their clientele from their kitchen, it is because they couldn't afford the place they were in because business dropped off, thus people voted with their wallets....but I don't expect you to understand that.
If they are operating as a business, they likely still have to abide by the same anti-discriminatory laws as any other business.
If you (or that other poster) can prove otherwise, please post the proof.
I don't feel like searching for it.
How about you prove us wrong?
But take a farm for example. They're a business(home) and you cannot trespass on a farm. They have the right to allow or disallow anyone they want.

Wrong.
The owner stated that business was booming with the increased publicity. From the article “he said his business has been booming. "(We've had) a huge influx of business. I think people are really coming out and showing their support," said Klein, in between customers.”
You would obviously love it if there was some sort of public outcry all because a couple angry lesbians didn’t get a cake but just the opposite has happened. The support has gone to the bakery.
"Public Accomodation" does not include a residence because Oregon defines it as

I'm on your side in spirit. Anti-gay attitudes sicken me. But it's legal to deny making the cake from home.
I guess if you are a baker that doesn't want to do SSM wedding cakes in Oregon you have to be a home business. That means the people who used to work in their shop no longer have a job. Personally, it wouldn't bother me to make that cake but I see no reason to force someone to make a cake they don't want to. I really don't get why some people insist on forcing their money on, and financially rewarding, people who clearly see them as lesser individuals.
I don't know why anyone would want to open a small business anymore. It used to be one of the reasons people did it because they wanted to be their own boss and make their own rules. Now, it is all risk and few perks.
