The lesbians knew full well that they were targeting a religious establishment and took the opportunity to kick some teeth in rather than demonstrate that the homosexual is capable of exercising tolerance for religious belief and go somewhere else.
Kind of how the Christian bakery owners demonstrated that they are capable of exercising tolerance for someone different than them? Kind of like that?
So, you want to go back to white business' being able to refuse service to blacks. The law is a good law and the business deserves to lose business. Want to be open to the public, then follow the laws that all business must follow, no exceptions for religious beliefs

Why should businesses be allowed to discriminate against gay people? All businesses in Oregon have to follow the same law," do not discriminate against people based on age, sex, race or sexual orientation " Do you suggest that all parts of that law should not be followed, or just the part about sexual orientation? If this were about a bakery owned and operated by an athiest that refused to make cakes for Christians, you would all be in an uproar.
Because it's THEIR businesses. Forcing a owner to do something is also discrimination!!
No I wouldn't be in uproar. I'd feel exactly the same.
The business owner pays the bills and assumes the risk of being in business. They should be allowed to run it as they please.
Can you not read, he said, "the government is part of the risk of running a business" not the government is at risk.
