I'm guessing this is just sarcasm on your part, but I don't know why you'd have included Mormons in your post. We celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, on Christmas just as much as the rest of Christians do.

I am completely non-religious but I still say "Merry Christmas". It's what I grew up with and it just sounds better.

I wish saying "Merry Christmas" was really about wishing somebody a Merry Christmas, and not about making a political point.

It depends upon why each individual says it. To me and mi\ne there's nothing political about it. If you have to politicizes it, have a happy.

Well, yeah, Christmas is a religious holiday, but these days many people that are from other religions celebrate Christmas as well more as a holiday since its a large tradition in this country.

I wonder do you feel pressured or obligated to say "Happy Holiday" instead of "Merry Christmas"?

yes and you people come out of the woodwork!!
I have an idea
let folks say what ever they want and then you answer or not answer how ever you want
why insist on a fight every year
is this really something you deem important??
if it is
you need a life or a hobby
good grief
and have an early
Merry Christmas!

I just wish people would say whatever they say with love in their hearts...and not snarl it.

No, don't feel obligated to say, "Happy Holidays." Then again, I do almost all of my shopping online. Here in Tennessee, I've been told to have a Blessed Christmas. I'm good with that, too. Especially if it makes extremist liberals move out of the state because their ears have fallen off.

Oh yeah, and the first day of Chanuka this year falls on Thanksgiving so it will be Happy Chanukah, too

I only wish people a happy Fesitvus now. Right before I inform the individual in how many ways they have disappointed me through the year.
