Interesting article not related to Police particularly, but to the concept of black men as "dangers to society" and the images some hold in their mind to justify their racism. I believe this is a similar issue as to why some Police feel justified in harassing and violating the rights of so many black men in America.
The issues seem rooted in our country's history.
Awaiting trial, Dunn wrote several letters to his family and friends complaining about how “jail is full of blacks and they all act like thugs.” In a letter to his daughter, he offered the following solution to the problem of black thuggery: “This may sound a bit radical but if more people would arm themselves and kill these f--king idiots when they’re threatening you, eventually they may take the hint and change their behavior.”
Threatened by growing black economic and political power in the early 20th century, white men calling themselves the Ku Klux Klan used this same portrayal of black men as violent, sexual predators to justify racial terrorism. It’s estimated that from 1880 to 1930, more than 2,400 African Americans were lynched, often for insulting white men or forgetting “their place.” For contemporary angry white men, standing up to “gangsta rap” and “thugs” is akin to night-riding on black men, as portrayed in D.W. Griffith’s classic 1915 film The Birth of a Nation.
Uh; what does that have to do with 2014? How many Black dudes were killed by other Black dudes between 1964 to 2014? It was def MUCH higher than 2,400.
I ask that because W on B murder ain't real common now.

Do you not see the other threads on this board? Fear of the black man is very real as well as many of the biases that go along with it.
How many white people were killed by white people between 64-14? I fail to see what point your making.
black on white crime is more common. the knockout game for one.
The knockout game is media hype and typical mainstream hysteria about the "savage black man."
And while black on white crime may be more likely than white on black crime, if you're white, you're more likely to face a white guy if you are the victim of a crime.
Did you not watch the videos? Did you not educate yourself first?
