Except that of course Joe is a media creation with no official standing in the GOP, while Davis is a Democratic US Congressmen, with standing, clout and 1 of 435 votes in the entire nation.
joe the plumber has more infuence and standing in the GOP then one dem rep ive never even heard of before.
everybody knows who joe the plumber is from the 08 election and we also know how many top republicans tried to court him and affilate themselves with him.
as a republican, you should be denouncing joe the plumbers comments, not praising them or just passively pushing it off.
a strong rejection means something. being passive is passively accepting it.
Why is Joe the Plumber's blog even considered newsworthy? This guy was a brief punchline in the 2008 campaign and hasn't done anything noteworthy in his entire life... He's below the level of the less known Kardashian sisters as far as celebs go.
He wasn't even a licensed plumber, yet he even lies about that one:

You are correct, sir. Not-Joe the Not-Plumber is Not-Newsworthy.

Fine, I will denounce the comments as I read them in the OP's link, with the caveat that there is an outside chance that context could make a difference. After all it is not racist to want a white prez if the choice is Romney or Obama. Just as it would not be racist to want a black prez, if the choice were Allen West and Hillary Clinton.
But seriously, you're going to argue that Joe the Plumber has more influence than a US Congressman? Note that whether you've been paying attention does not enter into this equation.
