This deserved a separate post of its own.

No. They do not. Bacteria are a LONG way down the chain of where people think life originated.

You have been asked this same thing on many an occasion in this thread alone.... but I have to ask again. Do you not think it would make you look more credible if you were to disagree with what science ACTUALLY CURRENTLY claims.... rather than in straw man nonsense positions you simply made up out of caricature.

Because it seems your attempts to make a caricature out of evolution are doing nothing but to make you a caricature out of yourself. I say this not to deride or demean you.... but to attempt to prevent you deriding and demeaning your own position.

EDIT: Having read on later in the thread I find that that is EXACTLY WHAT YOU DID end up doing. For shame sir, for shame.
Eeehhh...no. Darwin admitted there were holes in his own theory because he said the evidence to prove his theory was not there, but would be there in the future, but to this day it is still not there. You can read about his doubts in his own book chapter "Difficulties on Theory". It Is funny he doubted his theory, but people like you believe it blindly.

I don't care what YOU think. I said many scientists believe bacteria was first life form. Are you saying there are no such scientists? Sure sounds like it. The truth is, there are all kinds of scientists with all kinds of theories, and you have chosen to believe some and ignore the rest, and your "I know everything, and you know nothing" attitude is shared by pretty much everyone who is not quite sure about what they have chosen to believe. I am not impressed by anyone who comes in with personal stabs, because it does nothing but reveal the fact that you are not sure about you are talking about.

Why do humans have cutis anserina, more commonly known as goosebumps? It's a vestigial reflex that dates back to our ancestors, to make us look bigger and to keep us warmer. It clearly indicates that at one time we were covered in fur. What purpose does it serve at this point? Do you think your deity poofed us into existence with this feature just to f*ck with us? Was it a joke?
Did your God turn to one of his angels and say "Watch this! This will really mess with their heads!"
Please refrain from giving the non-answer of "God works in mysterious ways". Thanks.

I asked for quotes. You gave none. No surprise. In fact the only quote you DID give was the one everyone knew you WOULD give which is the cherry picked quote mined one about the eye.

You said it, but you lied it. Which scientists said this? Citation please.

I pointed you to your own "bible" written by Darwin himself, but since you refuse to read it, and instead call me a liar, there is nothing more to say.

PS Read also chapter "On the Imperfection of the Geological Record" where he admits the absence of the missing links is an obvious problem. It does not seem so obvious to people like you who have been schooled to accept his theory as 100% fact.

Have a nice day.

And I have asked this question multiple times....how does something evolve that was never created?

I am not a fundamentalist by any means....I believe that the earth is 4 billion years old. I believe that the universe is about 14 billion years old. I believe in evolution, otherwise, how did things become what they are today?

What started the process?

Did it simply "pop" into existence or is there a grand designer that created everything we see?

I don't think it's unconstitutional to discuss creationism in science class....as long as the Christian fundamentalist version (that the earth is only 6,000 years old) isn't taught.

Something brought about creation.....it deserves to be discussed and can be without being "religious".
