Profits.

Even if they have to issue a check back to policy-holders, that money is in their pocket until the end of the year. And it adds up, and they have working capital they wouldn't have otherwise.

Premiums vary. Some are more; some are the same and some have decreased.

Ignorance comes to mind..So people are having thier policies go up $1K a year or so, so they can get their check back for dozens of dollars.. and your response.. Profits..

Are people redefining what the word "lie" means? Obama didn't lie, he simply is not a dictator and can't predict the future. If obama was lying then that would mean when he originally said it, he knew people wouldn't be able to keep their insurance.

Please don't try and change the meaning of words just because you hate obama.

I know they do, but as I said, at least there is some remedy through the court system to get your insurance company to cover treatment. What recourse would you have against the government? I'm sure there will be an appeals process, but still through the government.
