Yeah, good luck with that.
Leg work for me?I know what and where it is.I even plowed through many, many pages of the then proposed act a long time ago, before it was passed.

Well congratulations.

So, seeing as you had unfettered access to it before it was passed and you also read it all when nobody else, including every Dem that voted for it had any clue what was in it..........

.......do tell.

LOL..Congress must be patting themselves on the back.
They are now blameless for any future cuts to medicare reimbursements.
They will no longer be held accountable for what happens and neither will the President.

They washed their hands of this.

I have not read all the posts because it was getting old ... Those that think "Death Panels" are something new and are going to be controlled by the government need to do a little research into the people that have DIED because an insurance company denied payment for a transplant, or other very expensive procedure when they would have lived a somewhat normal life if the transplant had been done.

There was a Made for TV movie that covered one "Death panel" Administrator's story.

Am I the first to tell you that you can find proposed legislation before it's passed?
Welcome to the Library of Congress at
Bills, Resolutions - THOMAS (Library of Congress)

Your representatives had access to it...maybe you should think about what they do and don't do before you vote again

Here's some more followup on the Halperin remarks that I ran across from Cato. This guy Michael Cannon from Cato really knows his stuff re Obamacare. I've heard several excellent interviews of him on various outlets.

Michael F. Cannon discusses Obamacare cost controls on FOX's The Kelly File | Cato Institute

There are a couple of admirable mandates in the ACA....some, not so much.
Too bad Obama can't stick to his guns on some. The brouhaha that Palin raised over 'Death Panels' got ditched and was a good thing.
And since he isn't sticking to his guns on others, even the questionable financing is now endangered.

Some people don't want to have a rational disucussion on controlling Medicare costs. Their discussion is more like cut the benefits for everyone else but leave Medicare as it is for me....might as well call it Republicare.

They are doing nothing about costs.
Cutting reimbursements is not containing costs.
They are containing spending while the cost continue to go up.

Nothing Obamacare addresses the increasing cost of medical care.
