It's terrifying that people like you can look at Obama's long list of malfeasance, hubris, incompetence, dishonesty and malice and still draw the conclusion that you do.

Fortunately, elected Democrats aren't all as stupidly simple-minded as some of their supporters.

Kyle Olson reported the plan on his Education Action Group website, commenting that it casts Obama “in a messianic light. Literally. There’s no controversy here. Leftists will use God and the Bible, in instances such as these, when it appropriately fits their propaganda purposes.”

School lesson portrays Obama as messiah

Writer Ezra Klein said "He is not the Word made flesh but the triumph of the word over flesh." Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan called his neighbor the Messiah. A Danish newspaper pronounced Obama "greater than Jesus."

In another speech Obama gave in Lebanon, New Hampshire Obama suggested his followers will be struck by a luminous force guiding them to the polls.

"...a light will shine down from somewhere. It will light upon you. You will experience an epiphany. And you will say to yourself, I have to vote for Barack. I have to do it."

Zero sum. I'm just as appalled at Conservative inanity as exemplified by this thread. Obama was elected. Twice. It's really time to get over it and move on. Or else it will happen again. I mean... just saying... there are good reasons Romney lost. The only way forward for Republicans (Independents for that matter) is to come to the center. That means a social consscience. That means TAXES. Don't believe me? Fine, go ahead. Try and win in 2016 on the @$% the environment, more tax breaks for the wealthy, repeal Obamacare, nuke the minimum wage, and de-fund Planned Parenthood kind of scorched earth policy. Really, go ahead, make my next four years. I triple dog dare y'all to use the same play in the 2016 scrimmage.

Republicans are losing because they're choosing moderates.

They may lose Primaries because they choose moderates but they lose The Election, because, to a Republican "moderate" is still way right of center. It was not always thus. This country didn't get to the top of the food chain by being a place where only the 1% could have any real quality of life! The most hard line, conservative, right wing, Republican of America's post-war years could see the value of social programs, tax reforms, government spending, government oversight. Would we, could we, have something like the Interstate Highway System, if we needed such a thing now? Republicans would say @#$@# them if they can't afford off road transport, we can't afford to spend any money of highways. Roe v. Wade happened because Conservatives then, saw the wisom of it. Conservatives now would repeal it and return America to the dark days of coat hanger abortionists... moderates? Moderate by whose standards?

Not unlike people who insist that instead of a corrupt political infrastructure, just ONE [black] figurehead can be responsible for ALL the evil in America, or even the world. How pathetically naive.

Nothing says we all have to continue working to pay those taxes. We can all go on the dole! No reason for me to bust my azz to support you
