Lots of legal substances are dangerous to children in high dosages including sugar. Should we ban all of them?

And yes, there are age restrictions on some nicotine products. Here is an example:

Oklahoma law would set minimum age limit for e-cigarettes, nicotine products at 18 - Story

I have gone to e cigs and quit the regular ones. Nicotine has the same affect on the body as caffeine and as such I have the full support from my cardiologist to use it as much as I want. He's thrilled I found something that I was able to quit cigarettes with.

Only I get the nicotine and others around me get water vapor. Anyone against these would need to be against humidifiers too.
Shhhhhhh..... Don't give the nanny state advocates another idea.

Yes, we are finally starting to see age restrictions happen on e-cigarettes for a reason. Currently most states do not have an age restriction.

I would be fine with limiting the consumption of sugar for children. My wife and I plan on not having soda in the house ever when we have a kid, best to start them off not being dependent on sugar.

Not really, you are just choosing to ignore the fact. That looks like your problem.

Yep, and I still support age restrictions on things like e-cigarettes, what's your point?

My point is people are quite capable of making informed decisions all on their own, no law neccesary. If you can do it why dont you think others cant?

Actually many laws are necessary even though people are able to make their own informed or uninformed decisions.
