This incident has nothing to do with texting or right-to-carry.

It was all about male ego and machoism. So sad that two families were destroyed.

Default Tragic

Imbecile gun nut, impotent, ignorant, frustrated, washed-up, and over-the hill, initiated an alteration with a patron knowing that such an altercation could possibly lead to his using his gun. So the Neanderthal did a George Zimmerman. He initiated the altercation because he has a problem with people texting in a movie theater, and escalated the confrontation so he could use his weapon. What a pathetic human being.

Two families ruined for what?

Yes possibly, and definetely a rude guy whose mouth overloaded his annal regions and got it shut for him.

The incident is tragic. Simple courtesy would have kept it all from happening.

No, you get charged with second degree murder. People get killed in heated arguments all the time. It's a "crime of passion", which is why it's not first degree murder. There were aggravating circumstances.

Gotcha. Thought you were saying it was justified.

I understand the humor in the situation (everybody has things that get to us), but to shoot someone over it is pretty pyschotic imo.

It's not a crime of passion! The victim, who we should point out was unarmed, was texting, which is totally silent & totally legal to do in that cinema.

He was murdered by a homicidal maniac who realised that because he couldn't brow beat the victim into submission, decided to kill him & shoot his wife. He should have his life taken from him. There were no aggravating circumstances, except in the killers own mind.

The jury will decide that, not us.
