It seems some people truly want to create more criminals out of American citizens for petty s*** like use of cannabis!
The law is what it is. I didn't create it, I just respect it, unlike some others choose to violate it, and then cry about how unfair it is when they get caught, and face the concequances of their actions. Don't commit the crime if you can't do the time.
A more interesting part for me though, is that he also basically stated that he views cocaine and meth as "harder" drugs that there would be greater risk in legalizing.
I believe most of the public views marijuana as less dangerous than these drugs as well.
The question I have then is, if that is the view of his administration, how long before he realizes how absurdly hypocritical is it for the DEA to still classify marijuana on schedule I while cocaine and meth are on schedule II?
......and he won't do anything about it because he checked the polls and doesn't want to take any political heat over it.
Sheesh....didn't anyone pay attention to how all these politicians views on gays have "evolved" over time?
Oh, let me check the polls and see if my views have evolved....
P.S. All pols do it so don't start cryin' that I'm picking on just Obama....it's just in keeping with the thread.

Well, the law's going to change. And then you'll really have something to cry about.

Time to change the law. It's outdated, and a complete waste of resources. More Americans than ever before are starting to agree. It will only be a matter of time. All of the states with legal medical weed, as well as the two with legal recreational weed have set the tone.

Ever speed? Or do you just drive 10 mph under the flow of traffic when everyone else is?

................ thus Obama today.
I am sure that the cocaine caused him no lingering effects whatsoever as well.
