I think marijuana is less dangerous than alcohol.

When was the last time you saw a pothead in a bar room brawl?

I worry about myself, and the rest of the people who who carry the burden of the paying for the damages if legalization goes through. Why do you think I oppose it? You have no respect for the law, which makes you a criminal, so basically we have a bunch of criminals making demands to legalize their crimes. Once it is legal, they will demand taxpayers pick up the tab. No thanks

I pay for my own insurance, my own bills, and I never drive while under the influence. What I do, is in the privacy of my own home.

I bet you break at least one law, every day.

I bet you speed, or slow and go at a stop sign, give the car a little gas when the light turns yellow, etc.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Hey Finn.... When a law is an unjust law, it's kind of hard to respect it when it doesn't make sense. If we were all a bunch of sheep and respected all laws just because it's the law, then things such as slavery, and segregation more than likely would have still been acceptable.

No, it is not hard.

To criminals all laws are unjust and unfair. A law abiding citizen respects all laws, even the ones they do not like. There is a process to change laws, and law abiding citizens obey laws until the laws are changed. Yes, believe it or not, but a lot of peope turn down drugs because they are illegal. They respect the law, while criminals do not. That's the difference between a criminal and a law abiding citizen.

My definition of a criminal and your definition are not the same! You can choose to cling to that BS authoritarian mentality if you wish, but some of us know that a true criminal is someone who tends to commit heinous crimes or steals from someone else. So tell me something Finn, was Rosa Parks a criminal for not going to the back of the bus? Based on your logic... I'm thinking yes.

Your definiton. Criminal = person who commits heinous crimes

Actual definiton. Criminal = A person involved in illegal activity.

How convenient of you to exclude your own crimes from the definiton, because you feel it is not "henious" enough.

Rosa Parks was guilty of civil disobedience, and she did it publicly and was willing to face the concequanced of her actions. Are you committing your crimes in public to make a political point with willingness to face the leagal conceqences? No, you commit your crimes simply because you do what you want with no recpect for the law. Don't compare yourself to Rosa Parks, because she was on a mission, while you commit your crimes in the shadows simply to satisfy your cravings.
