Football is foolish, but skating in a circle for nothing more than a chance at a medal every 4 years isn't? He has a right to his opinion and everyone else has a right to consider him a fool for having it, particularly when he obviously has no idea what American football is.

Athletes are wasting their time making millions playing football when they should be concentrating on speed skating and making...nothing? And he thinks Americans are narrow minded.

Well that is your opinion and you are welcome to it. I am a Seahawks fan and was still bored watching the game, but the older I get the less interested I am watching football, there are much better sports than that one.

The Dutch practically own speed skating, they are entitled to bragging rights.

My wife has said the exact same thing to me numerous times.

And she doesn't even skate. Never been to Holland, either.
