One can drink without getting drunk. I support the legalization of certain drugs but I really dislike poor and weak arguments for legalizing them.

Tens of thousand were not killed during prohibition. It's not O.K. to drive while intoxicated on anything. It's not going to end the drug cartels.

Legalizing drugs will not end the cartels any more than ending prohibition ended the mob. Criminals are criminals and they will continue to be criminals no matter what is legal.

I hope he wins his fight with addiction. I guess the only way to beat alcholism is to not drink at all? I think there are many kinds of addiction. Some just don't hurt the body they harm people's lives in different ways. You can become addicted to the internet for instance.

My brother drank himself to death 2 years ago last Valentines Day.

He was the one who stuck the bottle to his mouth, no one forced him, family wanted to help, he refused it, he has only himself to blame.
