Ironic statement if there ever was one.BLM stole the land to begin with simply because "they are the government". Anyone care to tell me how that boot is tasting? Leather or Cloth?
The land was always gorernment owned. The Bureau of Land Management was established in the 1940's and was just a reorganization of existing departments and laws. Bundy of Bunkeraville never owned the land. Nothing was stolen.
Bundy is quite the big man: ""I've got to protect my property," he told The Times last year. "If people come to monkey with what's mine, I'll call the county sheriff."
If he paid himself $100,000 a day....where would he list it as labor on his tax form???
Tax forms have nothing to do with it. Simple scenario to prove the point:
If a marijuana dealer (who doesn't file taxes on his marijuana business because it's illegal) buys marijuana at $40 per ounce and sells it at $80 per ounce, is his cost still $40 per ounce?
Or, if you prefer, how about this one that deals more directly with labor:
If a mob boss gets a contract to kill someone for $100,000 and he pays his henchman $10,000 to perform the hit, did it still cost him $10,000 to complete the contract even though he didn't claim the profits on his tax forms?

Lol his family has had cattle grazing on that land since the 1870's. So no. Wrong as most boot lickers are. But you go ahead and praise your government...guess you agree with the first amendment cordoned off areas as well right? And pointing snipers at innocent UNARMED people for simply videotaping the theft of their cattle? You agree with that as well I bet?
Send him the bill for back grazing fees. When he refuses to pay arrest him, try him and most likely jail him. If he violently resists arrest shoot him.
Basically it will go just as far as he makes it go. No one is above the law. Rule of law ;plain and simple. Always some outlaws around tho.
Gonna go as far as the government pushes it. He is right, they are wrong there is no if's and's or butts about that. They have already ramped up the confrontation by 1 stealing his cattle and now saying there is only a certain area you can speak about this in and then pointing sniper rifles at his family members who were on STATE owned roads which any American can travel on and videotaping the theft. Oh and they then let a canine loose on the unarmed man as well...Man people are sick in the head to praise the government when its so obviously in the wrong. What's that syndrome people get? Stockholm syndrome when they start wanting to be with their captors and agreeing with them...we have a nation FULL of those kinds of people so of course free men and women are considered crazy and outlaws and criminals etc. Rather be that than a sheep in the herd.

There is a real, kind of amusing, irony here. The rancher claims his family has used the land for countless years and thereby he has rights to continue using public lands for grazing.
The same rancher whose family benefited from the fact the Native Americans of the area didn't use deeds to claim land - and thereby had such lands taken - now wants to claim public rights land use.
Well, actually, it could be argued that Mexico took possession(Control) of the land from the Natives of that area, then the US.
MW people will give it right back when they go buy themselves a Hamburger.
There will be no gain but more money going to the state and the Unions.
