I had asked you earlier in the thread . . Does he own that land or not?

He should consider it a good deal that his family had use of the land, which they did not legally own, for all that time.

The big Mining companies also get some really sweet deals on Federal land that they don't own but control it as if it is their own.

Big mining companies pay to use government land and have to follow regulations. Bundy had a sweet deal but stopped paying his fees 20 years ago and refuses to follow regulations.

Did the mining companies pay fees for the use of the land?

It seems that the rancher's family had use of the land for free for quite sometime.
