Voter ID law has been legal in many states... Alabama is not an "exception" as the liberals would like to put it... all these IDIOTS don't realize that Voter ID laws have been on the books for decades... Alabama choosing to go that route does not make it unconstitutional as liberals would like it... keep dreaming, it will be appealed easily...

I bet all those people who's houses were destroyed in that tornado in Missouri still have all of their birth certificates! Probably the first thing they thought of; kids and pets came in second and third.

I dont care what your opinion of what you think voting is or does. Voting is a right just like it is to bear arms or are these words to hard for you to understand?
Since I'm still espousing that ideology, and getting rep points for it, your definition of "long gone" and my definition must differ substantially.

Voting is a right. There is no charge for voting. And there shouldn't be costs to qualify for voting. So says the Constitution, so says the courts.

And in Arkansas, the State Constitution lays down the requirements for voting. Presenting ID isn't one of those requirements.

This thread is about ARKANSAS. Hence the thread title, "Arkansas Judge Strikes Down Voter ID Law as Unconstitutional".

How many people really have their original BC in their possession?

I have a copy of mine; got it decades ago. Even that copy is kind of a tattered rag now.
I have my original from NY (old style black paper with white writing) and the ''new'' (1970's) reissue certifivate with the embosed seal (even still have my original SS card that has the statement on the bottom "for social security and tax purposes- not for identification"....that statement isnt on ss cards anymore) (its a card issued between 1961 and 1972)

How many cases of voter fraud in person? That is a good question, and the states that have done investigations on this have managed to come up with little to nothing.
Running from voting station to voting station?????

I don't follow this remark at all.

Well if you vote in person over and over, you need to go to different stations, thus that is what the term running from place to place means.

I have my original. And it's no longer acceptable because the paper has worn through at the creases.

Really? I never said i was perfect but i am proactive. I keep important information stored in a safety box in my house or in a box in a bank.
