As far as our liberties are concerned the guy is scum.
Not that I support the Patriot Act, but please tell us how your freedom has been impacted by it.

Yes, that was my point, he won against a bunch of underfunded unknowns. He won a lousy 57%, for a well known incumbent, that is sad. But not as sad as Cochran being forced into a primary run-off, and having to get democrats to cross over for him.

Well that has been the case in the last 20 years or so really. The right talks a big game about cutting back the pork, which only includes spending they don't like. If they were really for that type of reduction they would endorse across the board spending.

Harry Reid will enjoy being Senate Leader until he retires. In 2016, the GOP will lose several seats, simply due to having to defend far more vulnerable ones than the Dems, the inverse of 2012 and 2014.

Nothing we do or say now is protected, nothing. They scan our US Mail, and store it, they scan our phone calls, emails, online purchases, tweets, and web site we visit, there is no freedom. Don't you get it?? We all have a federal NSA bureaucrat, essentially following us around all day, recording everything we do.

All we are missing is a 24/7 video capture of our every move, would you have a problem with that too? I mean, they already record everything else we do, so what's left?

How much you want to bet they have more then a lame six month storage for all of the NSA spying, and it's all backed up. When it comes to storing their data, who cares, when it comes to sping on the people, the sky is the limit.

That's pretty much the amount of votes he gets in the general elections against nobodies as well.

You are spot on. (see post 137) He predicted a big Romney win. When is Mittens taking the oath of office?

I rather fancy a TeaParty controlled Congress. How quickly they will learn that their constituents will come at them with pitchforks.

Heck, they could not even stand together when it came to the Republican sponsored Flood Insurance Reform Act of 2012. The intent of the Act was to align premiums with actual risks and get the government out of the massive subsidy business within 5 or so years. No sooner did they pass the reform, along party lines, that their constituents demanded relief and thus the need to reform the reform.
