Wow, I certainly hope that turns out to be a false alarm!

SOUTHCOM is calling for some kind of plan to deal with a potentail Ebola outbreak in Central America... Can you imagine the panicked stampede of sick people coming accross our southern boarder if that happens?

I think it's more sad that he came here to die or was allowed in here.

CDC Director just stated the Ebola virus could become airborn but not likely.

Yeah right, not likely.

If protecting American's are your NUMBER 1 priority then cancel all arrivals from Africa.

That or get Onumbnuts and his family out there to swab all the arrivals themselves.

Probably. And the taxpayers will be stuck with the cremation/burial bill, too.

IF they win a settlement, they should have to pay the entire bill connected with him from the time he landed and stepped off of the plane.

Does everything in your world revolve around Money?

Seems that is the biggest issue with Cons since it is so often mentioned, is the following the new mantra of the Cons?:

MY MONEY, YOU CAN'T HAVE ANY!

I ask because, I would then have to assume that none of you are actually Christians, since Jesus had some words to say on the issue, but since they probably are not it will not be a concern. Just trying to get a good grasp on who values what in life.

The anti-Christian nature of conservative perspective registers as well with conservatives as the antisocial nature of conservative perspective (i.e., they refuse to acknowledge either). But I'm really surprised to see this issue being viewed in the red/blue context.

Apparently, everything in this man's family DOES revolve around money if they sue for a settlement.

It just GALLS me that they may be planning to sue after they got FREE healthcare for their family member.

I know they're hurting, but where is a little gratitude for the fact that he got free care for over a week, and a drug to boot? The hospital--despite what happened earlier with the screwup, took care of this man.

If they are from one of the West African countries affected by Ebola, they wouldn't be arriving in the United States from Africa. They would be connecting through other airports. And as NUMBING as it may seem, the United States does not have the authority to order other countries to stop flying to the affected nations.
