I have a few medical people in my family, including one nurse. They don't share the same opinion of the few on here. Remember, P&OC is a pretty myopic world.

Not bloody likely - fear sells.

Agreed, that's what I mentioned earlier. She lives in the sticks in Maine with few neighbors.
If the media would just go home it would be just her and a few friends.
Her neighbors aren't baking pies and bringing over.

Go home and leave her alone with her BF. Very simple.

Or send her to an "undisclosed gated community" under guard for the duration of her 21 days like they did with Duncan's girlfriend.

I shudder to think what will happen if there ever is a true outbreak of something if this is how people react over a few cases of ebola. All of which came about from someone who was taking care of a very sick person with direct contact with their bodily fluids.
Life's not fair. Get used to it.

Healthcare do-gooders who insist on going should show their commitment by staying there until the outbreak is over. If they want to take care of "very sick people" here's their chance to prove it.

Heroes! No way! Damn fools? Definitely!

More like an anarchist.

If they forcibly detain or contain her and she turns out to be free of Ebola, the costs to them will be in the millions. With an M.

Texas got a court order for Duncan's girlfriend.
NY got a court order for that Doctor newswoman.

Maybe Maine should get Mr. CDC involved.

I see it coming to a head today or tomorrow. I think they will take her against her will and detain her in a hospital. It's the way things are done these days. She will be clear of the disease as will her boyfriend and she will sue and win. Laws will be established to prevent it from occurring again. Just guessing...

You've figured it out, you mastermind, you!
Kind of a no brainer, considering her lack of public respect.
