Also does anyone not noticed the irony of defense contractors being extremely conservative? They are generally against high taxes and government spending yet they live off of the government.
Conservatives are not against all taxes nor all government spending. If it's a legitimate function of government such as military, roads, bridges, courts, police, parks, etc. we support taxes for it and spending on it.

That said, I think most conservatives are willing to look at cutting military spending at a time when we outspend the next 8 or so countries combined. That number has been in decline, btw, and projected to be under 5 by 2020.

It's the system we have.....everybody is going to glom off it. You see, human nature makes us want to take what is available and offered.

I am doing fine financially, but I would not have a problem scooping up 200 bucks a month in food stamps!

So if the Liberals get a great laugh out of how pathetic and leechlike the TeahadliKKKan states are........said Liberals should be fine with the cuts, because it will hurt the nasty Teabaggers the most, RIGHT???????????

So is the lower part of Idaho, which is either not very populated or possible state, federal land. The dark areas are the Nez Perce and Shoshone Indians.

Nevada, the upper part, no one can live in all of the area, very dry land. The people that do live there are few a far a part. One can drive miles before seeing a house or cattle.

Ok, everyone, the above is the definition of cognitive dissonance.

You argue that they "vote against their own interests", by voting for people who don't increase welfare as much, or decrease it.

Then, you argue that there are so many on welfare because they don't vote for people who will expand welfare.

This is why liberals cannot run a country, or even a lemonade stand. They have a complete intellectual disconnect inside their heads.

How about eastern KY and southern WV? No cities there. Overwhelmingly white. The biggest trough feeder in the country, Owsley county, KY, where 52.1% of personal income is from government handouts, is 99.22% white. That 0.1% black population (which works out to one 4 or 5 person family) must really be living like royalty. Same story for #2 (Wolfe county - 99.22% white) and #3 (McCreary county - 97.99% white). Why are these counties getting half their income from government handouts? Lazy white people faking disability.
Owlsley county has a whopping 4600 people.

Biggest trough feeder in the country, indeed

You may be correct, I saw a segment about them, very sad. I think the map goes to show us the welfare, unemployment, pensions and all other government handouts are NEVER going to be there enough to help one make it ahead.

I do believe pensions will be crack our whole system. One can't draw a pension when the company finally fails, leaving many unprepared.

You're wrong.

The big empty areas of Nevada are controlled by the Federal Government. Nevada has control of only 16% of the area within its borders.

Bill Gates also said that 640K of ram was all that ever would be needed.

Please don't quote him as an expert.
