David Reimer was not transgendered, he was a fully functioning heterosexual male who suffered the brutality of a botched circumcision. Since his penis was burned off, it is most likely his subsequent gender corrective surgeries were not very successful. David ended up killing himself in 2004. While it is amazing that there are people who insist on believing sexual orientation is choice, rather than innate, the case regarding David Reimer was empirical proof that sexual orientation is not learned, it is innate, and immutable.
I really don't care and I don't encounter these individuals enough to get my jimmies rustled over it. If someone wants to be a man, woman, cat, dog, go for it. But when you start defying societal norms and have boys playing on girls sports teams, or 10 year old boys using the girls bathroom in elementary school, it becomes an issue and just an attempt to push the envelope.
I've never read a study on this bc most is just biased jibberish, but in all honesty - what % of 'trans' people are seemingly normal in all other aspects of life? It doesn't seem like many, which leads me to believe its a mental thing - not very scientific of me, but it's just my view.
It's easy for people so wrapped up in bigotry to dismiss anything that refutes their simplistic world view. We live in a world full of colour and they see only in black and white. I pity them and knew exactly who would respond in such a fashion. Once again the same people live down to my expectations.

Somehow you know more about their motivations than they do. Since I believe it's far more likely that you're simply a bigot yourself than it is that you have some mysterious knowledge of the true inner feelings of individuals you have never met in your life, I think the person here who is only seeing things in black and white is you. A person either agrees with you or else you call them a bigot. Which, newsflash, makes you yourself a bigot.
And, of course, your next move is to accuse me of saying these things because I hate transgender people too. But the fact is, I support transgender people. On the issue here, I am with you and against them. But it's your behavior here that has been narrow minded and bigoted, not theirs. They are merely ignorant of the complexities of transgenderism. You, on the other hand, are pretending special knowledge of their motivations that it is not humanly possible for you have, and using this knowledge to bash their characters instead of actually arguing the issue. You make me embarrassed to agree with you.

The human brain is infinitely complex. I know you consider science to be, as you said, 'mumbo jumbo,' it's more correct that you are. Deal with reality so we don't have to listen to you trying to change it.

If someone can be born with one genitalia but be attracted the same sex and it is considered natural and normal then of one is born with the one genitalia but wants to be the other gender then it is also natural and normal. Brain Function not matching the physical attributes at some state usually pre-natal which surface later in life around puberty or so?
I mean if it is truly natural and normal to be a homosexual or a trans-gender. We used to call both types ***** but the former is now natural and normal so why not the latter one?

Because we don't agree with allowing women dressed like men and men dressed like women to use the opposite restrooms doesn't make us "haters".
Rule....if you have a penis, use the mens room. If you have a vagina, use the ladies room. Better yet, stay home.
