In that case, if they knew their buttons were being pushed, they were still stupid for reacting precisely as a provocateur would have wanted. The smart response: Call the father, "Your trick didn't work. Come and get your kid."
Those kinds of tricks are rightfully taken seriously. The stupidity here, as usual, is with the legions on the left who have tried to promote this hoaxer and his family as victims of racism. And the really interesting part is how they stay with it, even after it becomes clear that the victim is actually the perpetrator.
The kid didn't even build the darned thing...he disassembled a 1970's era digital clock and rearranged the innards into a pencil case to LOOK LIKE A BOMB!

Does this look like a bomb too? I take it you have never worked with electronics, otherwise you wouldn't have made such a comment.

If someone took a toy gun to school, they would know it was a toy but the kid would still get in trouble.
Apparently someone in charge thought it could possibly resemble a bomb or the cops would never had been called.
I think it was a setup by the teen and father to get attention and create an issue.
Like I said...he didn't even build the darned thing...There's more to this than is being said...and even Mark Cuban said in the posted video that the kid went six classes before anything happened and the only reason that anything happened at all is because he refused to put the thing away when asked and then became unresponsive.
@ Shutout...no it looks like an 8088 board...but stick it in a briefcase and it could easily look like a HOAX BOMB!
