The house Republicans can't even run their own caucus let alone the country. It's a sad state since their dysfunction directly impacts our nation. Can't say as I blame McCarthy though... leading house Republicans sounds like the worst job in America right now. All those clapping Boehner's departure and now he can't even leave. That's rich.

Yep. McCarthy is a fornicator.

And a true 'family values' kind of person as well.

Well, yeah. But mainly because the Republicans purport themselves to be the party of 'family values' and just generally hold themselves up as the ultimate moral authority.
Not to mention how they hold up the bible every chance they get.

Has McCarthy ever held up a Bible? I have no clue if he has or not........

To jump ahead, if not are you saying that someone who did and wouldn't vote for McCarthy is hypocritical or what? How are they guilty for something someone else did?

if it's on the internet, it must be true?

rumors dug up by investigator Charles C. Johnson......

According to Johnson, Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is in the midst of an affair with Congresswoman Rep. Renee Ellmers (R-NC) , who like Jones represents North Carolina.

Johnson cites North Carolina and D.C. sources that claim knowledge of the affair. Also cited as evidence are the frequent campaigns events held by the two together, as well as this 2011 piece from The New York Times:

McCarthy, who can’t stand the sight of blood, appreciates the ex-nurse’s toughness. Ellmers is one of nine women in this high-testosterone freshman class and has to find her own way of being heard. She barraged McCarthy with e-mails and phone calls saying she saw little sense in the G.O.P. leadership’s decision in June to send the White House a message by bringing to the floor a ”clean” (or condition-free) debt ceiling and then resoundingly voting it down. Sometimes when Ellmers is talking to the whip and doesn’t think she’s getting through to him, she claps her hands loudly in front of his face. Sometimes McCarthy giggles and claps back.

To be clear, none of this conclusively proves an affair. But it makes a lot of sense that someone like Jones would have knowledge of it and seek to prevent a major scandal for the GOP ahead of the 2016 election.

At the very least, this needs to be investigated fully before McCarthy is anointed the next Speaker.

According to Washington insiders, Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is having an affair with Renee Ellmers (R-NC). McCarthy dropped out of the Speaker race, and may have done so because an unknown insider is circulating a surveillance video on Capitol Hill, of him dining with Ellmers in an intimate setting.

"...high-testosterone freshman class..."

Oh, what a nauseating phrase. Where's Lorena Bobbitt when you need her?

Fairly asinine position to take, so people should not point out right and wrong anymore, because they might not be perfect enough to live up to something we all strive for?
