When touting examples of leadership within his party, Kevin McCarthy pointed to Hillary Clinton's dropping poll numbers, crediting the Benghazi Select Committee for the change.

"Everybody thought Hillary Clinton was unbeatable right? But we put together a Benghazi Special Committee, a select committee. What are her numbers today? Her numbers are dropping," McCarthy said.

McCarthy gives Boehner a B-minus - POLITICO

The committee's true purpose has never been in doubt for anyone who has watched objectively. This "investigation" has already lasted longer than the 9/11 hearings and the GOP has scheduled them to drag on right through 2016, even though the previous eight "investigations" yielded nothing.

Finally, a Republican admits the truth of what the Benghazi investigation is really about.

Today's GOP--wasting money, wasting time--they are a waste of space.

So sort of like this whole "email scandal" thing too, right?

The only problem here is any hypocrisy in the idea that the GOP isn't as incompetent as these hearings showed Hillary to be.

You missed his point. He was bragging that the Benghazi hearings were used as an attempt to bring Hillary down. Not exactly a Democratic position.

This has been obvious from the beginning. The GOP gets the government to pay for endless investigations. Just like Whitewater. The "fiscally responsible" (haha) Republicans spent endless millions on Whitewater and never found anything. Finally they heard about a stained dress and went that route but taxpayers paid for that pointless boondoggle for eight years.

Yeah, let's forget about BENGHAZI...it is fabricated BS republicans waste their time with, right?

Waste of time and money? What are congressional committees for other than fact finding investigations? The problem with any hearings during the Obama administration is the witnesses and facts get swept under the rug by democrats. Look up some of them on YT and hear idiots like Cummings halfway apologize to one being questioned. The murder of a US ambassador means nothing yet the killings of thugs takes precedence over all. We have strayed far as a nation.

Hillary doesn't have to comply because Holder won't make her. If it was a republican he would burn that person at the stake while Obama poured gas on the wood.

SCOTUS rules in favor of liberals and would do so in the cases of BENGHAZI and/or emails.

I'm gonna read some Mark Levin this week to ease my mind.

So you are against politicians doing something "polititical"?

This is the same as a murder trial being an attempt to bring a killer to justice.

So, telling the truth disqualifies him from being an R?
