When touting examples of leadership within his party, Kevin McCarthy pointed to Hillary Clinton's dropping poll numbers, crediting the Benghazi Select Committee for the change.
"Everybody thought Hillary Clinton was unbeatable right? But we put together a Benghazi Special Committee, a select committee. What are her numbers today? Her numbers are dropping," McCarthy said.
The committee's true purpose has never been in doubt for anyone who has watched objectively. This "investigation" has already lasted longer than the 9/11 hearings and the GOP has scheduled them to drag on right through 2016, even though the previous eight "investigations" yielded nothing.
Finally, a Republican admits the truth of what the Benghazi investigation is really about.
Today's GOP--wasting money, wasting time--they are a waste of space.
BTW - 9/11 hearings were a rushed sham to appease the ignorant masses. Much of the report is questionable.

Hillary while I am NOTa fan at all and won't even vote for her if it's her vs. Cruz, Trump or Carson, she is no more guilty than the CIA is. E-mail gate is a different story altogether though...

Obama should be in on the hearings as well; he knew what was going on. He will kiss Papal but caring about Americans being killed by terrorists overseas should be a chief concern.

The problem with any hearings during the Obama administration is the witnesses and facts get swept under the rug by democrats. Look up some of them on YT and hear idiots like Cummings halfway apologize to one being questioned. The murder of a US ambassador means nothing yet the killings of thugs takes precedence over all. Hillary didn't need the Benghazi Committee to drop her poll numbers. She did that single-handedly with her dishonesty over her email server.
So sort of like this whole "email scandal" thing too, right?
