And now the self-proclaimed militia group Idaho III%'ers, who unsuccessfully attempted to involve themselves in the Mahleur standoff, make the news after a 12-year old girl was accidentally shot by one of them at a gun range.
I feel horribly for the girl, but there's sooooo much schadenfreude that it's crazy.
First response is to fundraise. Not directly for the family, but donate to the Militia's site, and tag your payment and they'll "make sure" that it gets to the girl.
The gun "went off" while cleaning. Apparently they have decided that the "Guns don't kill people, people kill people" thing is BS, and now guns are apparently sentient and have begun killing of their own volition.
Nope. According to the Militia, it just "went off". No stupid people around that table...
Firearms safety, how does it work? Incidentally, I wish people would effin' stop with the "I was cleaning it" BS. No, you weren't. You were playing with it - but that's just a little too embarrassing to admit, isn't it?

Ummm, I can't seem to find this "news" outside of not so reliable "news." Can you help me find this being reported by a news channel? Raw Story is very progressive kind of like reading the Enquirer. I am sure for those just in here to find any bad news or gossip took you seriously......

She is actually making the case that Ammon isn't a flight risk - because he so very much wants to fight his case in court. Just like Daddy, who's totes not a flight risk, either. Just because they like to surround themselves with armed idiots who will declare themselves above the law, and now they're considered flight risks? So unfair!
In the meantime, the Bundy Ranch has decided that this is a free speech case and the Bundys are jailed for "unpopular speech". Because - no, I have no idea, either. (OK - I guess threats of armed force is, technically, speech - and probably pretty unpopular, as well.)
I have no idea why I find this so entertaining, but there we have it.
Because it's just *begging* to be turned into a movie by Mel Brooks or someone like him!
