That's not what I am saying... and you know it. You can roll your eyes all day... you can't escape the fact that this has ALREADY been a problem.

Given that serious terrorists have come here from Europe we absolutely SHOULD be concerned about it. Blithe dismissal of this issue is flat out dangerous.

Oh but then the terrorists will be able to get into the country. So what should we do if you are so concerned about this?

So in your mind it's an All or Nothing problem... we either cut off all immigration or we just let them in... is that it?

We can address this through intelligence gathering and vetting, as we do now. But you've actually missed the boat here... the discussion was whether or not we should be concerned about Islamists in Germany. The answer is clearly... YES.

Frankly your 'point', what there is of it, is juvenile.

So now we should have to go through a vetting process just to travel to and from Europe? I am just curious what you think should be done, expecting a lengthy vetting process for anyone traveling abroad or traveling to the US just seems costly and a waste of time.

You can start with Mohamed Atta... leader of the 9/11 attack. He studied in Hamburg, Germany and joined a terror cell in Hamburg. That cell included Marwan al-Shehhi, Ramzi bin al-Shibh, and Ziad Jarrah... all 9/11 hijackers. He came to the US... from Germany.

i would like to Thank You here and now for not being in charge of National Security.

You're welcome.
Pretzel logic alert!

People can become radicalized anywhere. Lots of evidence of this for anyone, no big secret, and getting radicalized can be just as likely in 3rd world countries as advanced modern ones where the Internet and YouTube videos are all the more a part of the scenario.

If we are now also going to blame other countries where terrorists have lived and/or passed through, the grand scope of scapegoats pretty well nets most of modern Europe and/or our allies.

All that aside, if you REALLY want to go there, do you REALLY know what you're talking about?

"The hijackers in the September 11 attacks were 19 men affiliated with al-Qaeda. 15 of the 19 were citizens of Saudi Arabia. The others were from the United Arab Emirates (2), Egypt and Lebanon. The hijackers were organized into four teams, each led by a pilot-trained hijacker with three or four "muscle hijackers" who were trained to help subdue the pilots, passengers, and crew.

The first hijackers to arrive in the United States were Khalid al-Mihdhar and Nawaf al-Hazmi, who settled in the San Diego area in January 2000. They were followed by three hijacker-pilots, Mohamed Atta, Marwan al-Shehhi, and Ziad Jarrah in mid-2000 to undertake flight training in south Florida. The fourth hijacker-pilot, Hani Hanjour, arrived in San Diego in December 2000. The rest of the "muscle hijackers" arrived in early and mid-2001. They had taken classes to learn how to fly the planes properly.

I would all the more like to thank you for not being head of National Security, because you really need to have a grasp of the facts when considering these issues, not your arse...

Yet you are in every thread about things going on in other countries around the world.

Yes! In fact... you already ARE vetted when you travel to and from Europe (or anywhere else). Every name is checked to see if you are on the No-Fly List (or any of several other lists). You think people aren't checked before boarding an aircraft? Do you fly much?

But let me extend my Thanks to you for being in charge of absolutely nothing.

Nobody is "blaming other countries"... good grief. I'm talking about valid and appropriate national security measures.

Exceptions (the San Diego losers that were radicalized overseas) don't erase the fact that we have terrorists coming here from Europe. For some obtuse reason you argue that terrorists have come from places other than Europe and this somehow means we can ignore terrorists coming from Europe. Debate fail.

So... do you think we should vet people from Saudi Arabia, UAE, etc... but NOT from Europe? Isn't this the same sort of 'racist' discrimination Leftists accuse Trump of? Why... Yes, it is.

You're not just illogical... you are consumed by irrational emotion and it literally prevents you from thinking rationally and clearly.

You're welcome.

I don't post much, but I'm tired of reading your bull****.

You constantly apologize for the Example of Mohammed that wreaks havoc around the world TODAY!

Islam was fundamentally founded by terrorism 1400 years ago, which is emulated TODAY!

How Islam is given any respect today, as a "religion", founded by bloodshed and deceit, is absurd, imo. The Qur'an, Hadith, and Sunnah are RIFE with bigotry; calls for and examples of Earthly punishments for "religious" violations.

What a shame it is that the #1 cause of terrorism today is Islam; The Example of Mohammed is the scourge of the Earth.

Thanks, Mo.
