From NY Times, "After years of frustration, proponents of releasing 28 classified pages of a congressional inquiry into the Sept. 11 attacks were seeing real progress in their push for disclosure of findings that are said to show high-level Saudi Arabian support for the hijackers."

The terrorists beat us on 9/11, both that day and in the years to come. We started to give up our rights and liberties that day. It began with security and has led to the government becoming more aggressively involved in all aspects of our lives.

We need to remember how we felt on 9/11. Then we need to recognize that what we felt that day led us to do some really stupid things that we are still living with today.

Of course it was politically incorrect to retaliate against and fight the real enemy.

Agreed. I'll go you one better, 9/11 was caused by our government doing some really stupid things in the Middle East.

I knew the official story was a lie on the day it happened.
They really think we're all idiots.

I saw the first tower burning on TV in the lobby of my hotel as they told what happened. Then I saw the second plane hit live. I knew we were at war. Now my government does all it can to obscure and deny that, to aid our attackers. Our attackers are now in our government.

I was only five years old on 9/11 and I would hope such an easily preventable tragedy would never happen again.
