He was on the fringe, he didn't attend a mosque, drank alchohol, medicated and he was seeing a psychiatrist. That is not your prototype attackers as in Hebdo and the other attacks. I don't see anything that puts him as a main stream Muslim. He was a crazy person that happened to be Muslim, looked on youtube and found a cause and became radicalized. This was not main stream as some of the others were, he was crazy the others not so much in the clinical sense. They spent years of planning leading up to the attacks, visited mosques. I am not arguing that he wasn't radicalized by ISIS, just making the point that it had little to do with religion and more to do with mental illness.
