Obama plays 3-D chess. Firing Comey wouldn't solve the problem of the FBI rank and file being Republican tools.

Breaking up the FBI would be the smart move. Definitely break up that NYC nest of vipers and make it clear that anyone leaking information to Guiliani or anyone else outside the agency would be looking at some unfortunate consequences.

Prioritizing hiring women and minorities would be useful to replace those putting in for early retirement.
The term for your suggestion is known as "sedition". You should be more careful on a public forum if you are intent on this.

Oh, and evidently Trump supporters are just like Trump: Just like Trump thinks he knows more about the military than the Generals, Trump supporters think they know more about the law than the Director of the FBI. And they think that whenever the truth doesn't serve their corrupt narrative, that making it up is a legitimate option!
Still waiting for you to show where in the statute it says intent is a criteria, said intent is what Comey used to avoid recommending indictment. Evidently you can't as you've been repeatedly asked. No partisanship, no ideologue babble, let's just get to the actual truth of the matter shall we?
Or, just keep on sidestepping the truth...
I will gladly admit if I'm wrong if you can produce what is asked...

"I do not think it means what you think it means." Inigo Montoya (William Goldman)

The cluelessness of what the law is among Trump supporters is remarkable.

Not only the law, but the meaning of words.

It's not like the law, or words either for that matter, mean anything you want it to mean.

This from the person who is putting his personal opinion over the professional determination of the Director of the FBI.

I never said she broke the law. I said her extreme carelessness --- and gave undeniable examples --- placed sensitive information at unnecessary risk.

Besides, investigators, prosecutors, judges often disagree among themselves. What one determines isn't the be all, end, all.
