For the love of sanity!!! Educate yourself people!
see, here is the thing, when you people say things like the above. the rest of us look at you and see a conceited self centered blowhard that thinks way to highly of himself. really, anything you say after that ought to point to some kind of actual educational point. when it doesn't it just proves YOU are the one who refuses to listen and/or learn.
So, you must be really distressed when a person says "I'll never do business with this company again!", right? Lol
Actually, the vast majority do not.
BTW, if Trump's actions were anything approaching the spontaneity of his mouth, he'd be living in a trailer home years ago. You can't be the head of an organization likes his if you dont think through your actions.
BTW, have you never heard the expression "you're all talk"? There is a reason why it's a well know expression.
Saying you won't do business with someone, well, that isn't reckless talk.
When you have alot of money, you can get away with alot of stupid things. He did go through 4 bankruptcies, so that leaves alot to wonder.
With the case of
I know where the expression comes from. However, when it comes to the highest office of the land, "talk" can influence alot.
After reading this entire thread I see some of what you're saying Lily, but my thoughts on the matter are as follows.
The flag is merely a symbol of what our nation is and what it stands for. It is not some sacred, blessed talisman.
When we fight, we fight for our country and it's ideals. We don't fight for symbols.
It is not the symbols of our nation that makes us what we are. It's not the eagle, the flag or the pyramid on the back of a bill.
It's the ideas and the concepts that founded the nation that are sacred and men are prepared to die for; that is what makes us great. The ideas that "All men are created equal, E Pluribus, Unum, Liberty and justice For All."
Not some symbolic piece of cloth.
That's my thoughts on the matter.
I agree with you. Thank you
Some here should know that you are a kick ass combat Vietnam veteran. Whatever you say, I definitely listen. Maybe I am biased, but it is just me.
Just because he tweets it doesn't mean it will happen. However.... I do often think those who think this is such a awful country should go live in another one for a year. I lived in Germany for a spell, it was amazing some of the rules they had that curtailed freedoms that we just for granted over here.
Perhaps they'd realize the US isn't so bad and not vote for a lunatic like Trump next time.
