Cool story.

Goes beyond just flag burning to saying the pledge too? Should these people also face criminal charges, and be denied their citizenship as Un-American too? We have all heard about the latter in sports especially.

I have worked in Public Schools in both NY and Florida. Pledge. Issue with both staff and students in both states. Florida? Jehovah Witness Teacher's Aide. "This is against my religion to worship a false god". NY? Wiccan student. "We do not worship a man made piece of cloth". Throw them in jail too? Take away their citizenship? American citizens do not have this right either?

Me, personally, as a former Christian, now Agnostic? I do not want to say the words "Under God" and put my hand over my heart. Did enough praying in Catholic school as a child. No more as an adult. Do I now not have that right either?

The left had as much as much to do for Trump getting elected as anyone.

Jeez, you seem to be the one who would feel more at home in China or Cuba or some other fascist state where free speech isn't tolerated. Friggen un-American Trump voters....
As has been noted in this thread many times.....Hillary actually tried to get this passed as a law.

Protesting is a very American thing to do.

Do I get to pull out the numerous comments made by progressives as well?

It makes more sense for people outside America to burn the flag
They burn the flag because they are passionate about an issue, and think that America can change if enough attention is brought to that issue. You don't go out and burn leaves or tablecloths as a means of protest. You burn things that have meaning, to you and to the public at large. If what you burn has no meaning, it has no impact.

Let me save you the trouble, off to ignore you go!
Nationalism was a component of the Nazi party.

And nationalism is what Trump espouses.

Your attempts to demean those who disagree with you, rather than actually have a civil discussion, tell us quite a bit about you.
