"Trump's approval rating hovers around 48%, which is at least 17 percentage points lower than the lowest approval rating that any of the past three presidents had during his transition..
Didn't these same pollsters say that Trump had no chance to win the nomination or presidency?
(I can't believe that some still believe the MSM without question.)
There ya go. What the posters above are saying is that they couldn't care less about the well-being of their fellow Americans. And of course, they deny legitimate polling from an organization like Gallup. The only news they trust is the fake news that they get from Breitbart.

George W. Bush had a 65% approval rating when he first took office, Bill Clinton took office with a 67% rating, and Barack Obama entered with a 75% rating."
His supporters may still be in the orgasmic stage, but the rest of America has problems with him. Does Trump care? Probably not. Will he do anything at all to bring Americans together? I doubt it. And again, his followers couldn't care less.
What is he being approved on? He wasn't in politics.

I think he will continue to be the guy he's always been, and perform as he always has. If that's the case, he's quite likely to unite americans - against him. Much like W did.
Trump's approval rating is the lowest of any incoming president in nearly 25 years
The man hasn't even taken office yet, so those approval ratings are pretty much meaningless. They'd be expected to turn out low after such a controversial election and the bizarre result.
The meaningful number on Trump will be his approval when he leaves office.

President Trump does not need the "approval" of the people. He won the election. That is all the approval he needs to enact his agenda. Only people like Barack are caught up in having people like them. The best teachers I ever had were the ones most students hated because they made you actually earn your grade.

Ah, a running fantasy come to life as a post.
guess what? America elected Trump.
The dems have done their best to slice and dice Americans on every crease possible.
Unity wasn't important to obama or his supporters and now suddenly the concern about 'coming together'?????
If trump did nothing to bring us together, he would have done a cosmos more than obama ever did to bring us togther.
Dream on.
