If selling a couple dime bags can disqualify one from delivering UPS packages, surely a history of fascism should disqualify one from a lifetime appointment on the highest court in the land. It's too big of a risk with the actual future of our nation at stake.
High school is the place where your set of beliefs are not developed at all. It is the time of rebellion in most of us. We are trying to fledge the nest prematurely and find out we made mistakes. We all have a streak of rebellion in us when we are trying to find ourselves. Some people get stuck there and many move on into upstanding mature adults.
Liberals are stuck there, immature in their thinking, and unaware of the world around them.
He dressed preppy, read Buckley, and founded a rebel conservative club with a clever satirical name.
Quote:
The yearbook described the ‘Fascism Forever Club’ as an anti-faculty student group that battled against the 'liberal' views of the school administration.
‘In political circles, our tireless President Gorsuch’s “Fascism Forever Club” happily jerked its knees against the increasingly “left-wing” tendencies of the faculty,’ said the yearbook.
It is not the only example of Gorsuch’s early conservative political views. One yearbook photo showed the high school senior kicking back in a chair in a button-down shirt and tie while reading William F. Buckley’s 1959 book ‘Up from Liberalism', a key text of the conservative movement.
Another photo shows Gorsuch leaning over a railing with his tie undone while sticking his tongue out at the camera.

Standards are different for someone who's trying to sit on the highest court in the land. When I served in the military I saw people denied security clearances for less than Gorsuch did.

for "less than Gorsuch did" --- WHAT?! What did he DO!?
Lol...Democrats reaching back to high school. Do you folks realize how ridiculous this sounds?
The government reaches back to high school when deciding whether or not to issue a security clearance. A permanent appointment to the highest court in the land should come with at least as much scrutiny.
I guess the dems didn't care about that ammo when they approved him for the 10th Circuit Court. Here's some names of Democratic Senators who voted to confirm Gorsuch back in 2006, you might recognize some of those names, like Obama, Clinton, Biden, Kerry, Schumer, Feinstein, etc.
