What proof have you that these protestors were "terrorists"? It's more likely that they were refugees from terrorism. Are you familiar with what happened to the Yazidis??
The only terrorism evident was that of Erdogan's goonish bodyguards, who violently attacked innocent civilians on American soil, while they themselves were the guests of the United States! How can you continue to defend the indefensible?

I assure you he is not "familiar" with anything beyond knee-jerk loyalty. The guy has written that he approves of foreign thugs violently attacking American citizens. It really doesn't get a whole lot worse than that.
In all fairness, I believe this literally just happened a few hours ago. Give the President at least a day, perhaps he doesn't even know about the situation. A serious situation but not code red, something that probably needs to be addressed but not immediately.
This happened around 4:00 yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon. Plenty of time for Trump and/or the State Department to speak up. Trump hosted a formal dinner for Erdogan last evening, just a few hours after this debacle.
