You misinterpreted my 'Stop', but ditto on the second half of what you wrote.

And deny it all you want but you did belittle him (him being the poster Fleet), just as you did Scarabchuck when he said he was more interested in cars at that age. Fleet even felt the need to defend himself by posting:

If anything, I was more serious than the average Jr. High School student because I spent my summer late nights ready Astronomy books.
When I posted to no one, asking if people were honestly criticizing other for being more interested in the ice cream truck than in politics as 8th graders, you quoted my post and said, "Yeah, a bit." Now you're denying you criticized him.

You don't like being called out - do as you suggest and use the ignore button.

I stand by the idea that the majority are just parroting someone else.
Look at the replies on here. It's common for not just kids.

That would be respecting one's parents, would it not?

I don't have a problem with you posting to me or others. I do have a problem with you trying to tell me how to post.

I am sorry these students and their families are receiving threats and insults from those who do not believe in personal liberty.
They're 14 they don't know squat. Same with the tools who get a teenager to ask political questions. "See how our youth is involved!". pfftt
If you can get the little derelicts to look away from their hand held idiot box for 2 minutes then you've accomplished something.

Sorry not this crowd. These kids are well informed, are they influenced by their parents? Absolutely. That said South Orange is a very involved community with politics. They taught it in the school and gave the kids a chance to learn during this election.

This is how the kids start learning, understanding the meaning of protesting and how to make change. Good for them!

What cracks me up is a post from Elissa on Facebook ended up as a national news story. It is really appalling the awful things that have been messaged to her and her son.

Poor little Matthew. He has been taught to hate and will have a lot of conflict as he grows up.
No. Matthew has been taught love. Paul Ryan represents nothing of what the South Orange community is about. It has a large gay community, they have two or three refugee families that have moved to the area.

So don't poor little Matthew. I am proud of the young man he is becoming.

You really have no idea if they are well informed or not do you? Many adults are not so why would you expect kids to be?

You learn by understanding and defending the rights of the individual.

The media strikes again. Innocent people getting killed by our military in the Middle East, economy is bad, but lets make a big deal about what a kid said.

No I do know for a fact they are well informed. They are friends of mine.
