He does have right to free speech and no one is impeding that right, what he doesn't have a right to is the consequences of his actions. This applies to everyone or should apply to everyone.

What is interesting about this is he is likely unionized. Is the union going to defend his right to free speech? -OR- Will they be picking and choosing which members rights they will defend?

So, booing during the anthem is cool, but taking the knee is not?

If the only time they kneel is when the anthem is played, then yes they are doing it to say the flag is not their flag. They're not kneeling when giving interviews after a game. They're not kneeling when they get to the register at the grocery store or when they buy gas. If their message is something other than they don't like the US, why is their kneeling message restricted to when the anthem is played? Shouldn't they be looking to convey their message at every opportunity?

I would imagine a black man doesn't want to hear the n word flying down from the audience while he's singing the anthem. I would imagine he would feel some kind of way about that, don't you?

I don't care what they do, but I DO know many others that are not either. Again, they are no longer relevant to me. So.........
